We cover all areas of Kent including Ashford, Folkestone, Hythe, Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Thanet, Herne Bay, Whitstable, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester, Hoo, Gravesend, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge, Romney Marsh, Tenterden, Rye, Dartford. East Sussex and Surrey can be covered also.
1
Managing projects
We can manage any part or the entire project from the idea to handover. We can work with planners, architects and designers (planning permission and building control) through to recommended contractor searches (their reputation and reliability etc.), infrastructure management (utilities: electricity, gas and water etc.) ensuring the final handover is smooth and done with minimal unintended costs, added time and ultimately you getting what you expect.
2
Supervision of projects and contractors
If you self manage a project yourself or through building contractors, or a general builder we can take on the management of some or all of them. This allows you to focus on the ultimate outcome rather than how you achieve the outcome; for a domestic build this benefits the client by allowing focus on the imagination and inventiveness of the end product, a beautiful home for instance.
3
Feasibility studies
Simple questions such as 'how feasible is the idea?', 'are my expectations of cost and time worthwhile?', 'how do I even approach taking my plan forward?' are big questions when you are on a budget and have no idea on how to approach it or get started. We can help by doing an exercise on these and many other questions to avoid any untimely costs and risks and even, at times, the best advice can be not to start at all or find an alternative route to a slightly different outcome.
4
Advisory services
We can provide advice to get an idea off the ground. We can engage with you or your client in such a way that is non intrusive and on an hourly basis, this can lead you to a more formal planning stage. An example would be a simple ground floor extension to create space, what do you want to do with that space, does it need to be part of the original building or separate, will it be lived in, worked from, or many other things to consider; just ask.
